HD-EXT3-C and HD-EXT4-C HDMI over HDBaseT™ Extenders

Gefen’s New Modular Matrixes for HDMI feature Extra Long Range Outputs using HDBaseT® to deliver High Definition Video to Multiple Rooms using a Single CAT-5 Cable

The GefenPRO 16x16 and 32x32 Modular Matrixes for HDMI w/HDCP offer cross-point routing of one or more sources to one or all connected displays with full HDCP compliance. The 16x16 Modular Matrix w/HDCP connects up to 16 sources and 16 displays. The 32x32 model connects up to 32 sources and 32 displays. Both include a local HDMI output for monitoring connected sources, and Gefen FST (Fast Switching Technology) to improve the HDCP authentication process and minimize picture loss. 

The modular enclosures allow users to customize their outputs in increments of eight, including 8x  HDMI outputs or 8x ELR (Extra Long Range) outputs that use HDBaseT to deliver HDMI with bi-directional IR up to 330 feet (100m) using a single CAT-5 cable per display.  Resolutions up to 1080p Full HD with 3D pass-through are supported along with multi-channel audio and bi-directional IR to allow control of all sources and displays from the extended location. 

Matrix control options include front panel buttons, IR, RS-232 and IP control using the built-in web server, Telnet or UDP. Each Matrix is rack mountable and includes hot-swappable, dual redundant power supplies that provide increased reliability and always-on functionality.  As with all GefenPRO products, both come with 24/7 technical support.

New Gefen ELR DBase® Sender units and Plug-in Input Board for the GefenPRO Modular Matrixes deliver High Definition Video from remotely installed sources to the Matrix using a Single CAT-5 Cable

The GefenPRO DVI ELR Sender units and input boards use HDBaseT® to deliver High Definition video and RS-232 to GefenPRO 8x8, 16x16, and 32x32 Modular Matrixes from sources located up to 330 feet (100m) away. Two Sender models are available. Both extend DVI, and one also extends RS-232.

The plug-in ELR Receiver board features 8 HDBaseT® input ports and is compatible with Gefen’s GEF-MOD-848, 16416, and 32432 modular matrixes. The ELR Sender unit is placed near each remote source and features DVI and RS-232 (if equipped) connections. Each source can send DVI video to the matrix, receive serial commands from and send status information to the modular matrix.
These three products join a large family of input and output boards for the GefenPRO 8x8, 16x16, and 32x32 modular matrixes, including the Gefen ELR Output board GEF-DVI-8ELR-S and its companion Receiver units GEF-DVI-ELRPOL-R and GEF-DVIRS232-ELRPOL-R that deliver digital video and in case of the latter also RS-232 from the modular matrix to a remotely installed High Definition display. DVI ELR Lite Extender over one CAT5

New DVI ELR Lite Extender from Gefen Extends Digital Video Using Cost-Effective Extension Modules

Gefen’s new DVI ELR Lite extender provides a less expensive option for many applications in smaller venues that don’t require a full 100 meter distance of extension while maintaining the same level of quality. Distances up to 230 feet (70m) can be reached using one CAT-6 cable, and distances up to 200 feet (60m) can be reached using a single CAT-5 cable. The DVI ELR Lite Extender supports resolutions up to 1920x1200. Previously the maximum range for HDBaseT®-based extenders was 100m. The DVI ELR Extender supports resolutions up to 1920x1200. ELR technology from Gefen uses HDBaseT® to extend high resolution data using industry standard unshielded cable.

UHBX-WP-P2 Kit

UHBX-WP-P2 is an extender kit (combination of UHBX-S-WP + UHBX-R-PSE ) from Hall Research that utilizes HDBaseT™ technology. It can send HDMI and PoH (Power-over-HDBaseT™) to 500 ft (150 m) on a single Cat6 cable.

DTR-60.5 and DHC-60.5

Integra, the leading brand of audio-video components specifically engineered for custom installation, has introduced its new mid-range THX Certified AV preamp processor and A/V receiver, the DHC-60.5 and DTR-60.5. Both are the first Integra products to support HDBaseT technology, which allows HD audio/video signals to be transmitted over much longer distances and are easier to field terminate and install in customized lengths than HDMI.

These products are HDBaseT Certified.

 

KD-CATHD250Lite

The KD-CATHD250Lite extends HDMI 2160p/24 (4K UHD) signals up to 120 feet and HDMI 1080p/60, 1080p/24, 1080i, 720p signals up to 210 feet over one CAT5e/6 cable. Our product requires only ONE CAT5e/6 cable between TX and RX units, and extends either IR or RS-232 control signals.

KD-CATHD300Lite

The KD-CATHD300Lite with KD-CAT6STP1X extends 1080p/60, 1920x1200, 3D signals up to 250 ft. Our product features auto-adjustment of feedback, equalization and amplification depending on the length of cabling used.

The KD-CATHD250POH receives HDMI 2160p/24 signals up to 120 feet and HDMI (TX/RX) 1080p/60, 1080p/24, 1080i, 720p signals up to 210 feet over one CAT5e/6. This product only requires a power supply at TX end, because of its POH (Power Over HDBaseT) capability.

KD-CATHD500Pro

The KD-CATHD500Pro with KD-CAT6STP1X extends 1080p/60, 1920x1200, 3D signals up to 400ft. Our product features both transmit and receive IR, RS-232 and Ethernet for bi-directional control signals.

TP-580T/R, WP-580T/R, TP-580TXR/RXR, WP-580TXR/RXR - HDBaseT Range Extenders, available as standalone and wall plate versions, featuring special XTRA (Long Reach) Mode, up to 590 feet (180m)

These products send the HDMI signal up to a distance of 430 ft (130m) when using Kramer’s BC−DGKat623 cable, compared to 330 ft (100m) when using a standard industry cable. For demanding applications, Kramer is offering a special XTRA (Long Reach) Mode*, allowing 1080p 60Hz HDMI signals with 8 bit color, to reach all the way to 590 ft (180m) when using Kramer’s DGKat623 cable. Kramer’s 4K-Ready, certified, HDBaseT range extenders provide a simple, direct connection with any other certified HDBaseT product from leading vendors in the industry.

4x4 HDMI® Matrix Switch and Receivers (Product ID 10682)

The heart of this kit is a 4x4 Matrix Switch, which allows you to route signals from any of the four video inputs to any or all of the four video outputs, in any combination. The Matrix can be controlled using the included Remote or a PC via an RS232 serial connection and the included app. Additionally, it can be daisy chained up to 8 times, giving a maximum total extension distance of up to 800 meters!

OTC-1HDMI-IR

Send HDMI with IR control up to 100m over CATx with HDBaseT technology. The Optiva OTC Series provide daisy-chain capability for multi-drop application and signal conversion over the copper, such as HDMI to DVI, HDMI to 3G HD-SDI/HD-SDI/SDI, or any other combination.  EDID is not an issue, since there is a full duplex handshaking built into the HDBaseT technology. The HDBaseT cards are compatible with switches and stand-alone modules, and can be mixed with any of our Optiva CATx or fiber optics cards in an Optiva rackmount or desktop enclosure.

 

980 HDMI Protocol Analyzer module

The 980 HDMI Protocol Analyzer module is a supports deep analysis of HDMI streams. The module is equipped with an HDMI Rx port and an HDMI Tx port. The HDMI Rx analyzer port provides full visibility into the HDMI protocol, metadata, timing, control and auxiliary data at HDMI 1.4b speeds of up to 297MHz for analyzing 4K-capable source devices and network components. By providing full visibility into all data types, the module enables HDBaseT product developers to: 1) verify transparency—bit exactness—through the HDBaseT extender or switch and 2) identify and diagnose interoperability problems early in the product life cycle. Savant SmartLink Matrix Video Switches

Savant's three new SmartLink HDMI® matrix video switches leverage HDBaseT 5Play technology, which enables integrators to reduce installation time and costs by using a single CAT5e/6 cable to deliver uncompressed high definition video, audio, control, and power across 100 meters of cable length. Savant's SmartLink technology is designed to ensure easy and efficient interoperability with other certified HDBaseT 5Play products. The three new video switch products are designed to be controlled using an Apple® iOS device equipped with Savant's award-winning TrueControl™ apps. CEDIA Training session

The Alliance will also lead a CEDIA Training panel discussion entitled “How to Install a Complete HDBaseT Whole Home Network Tomorrow” on Thursday, Sept. 26th from 1–2 p.m.

Attendees will hear from fellow professional installers and systems integrators on real-life installation use cases of HDBaseT technology and best practices for implementation. Panelists will also discuss the role of HDBaseT technology in delivering HD content, how it relates to current connectivity standards, and the future of HDBaseT technology.
