At one of Germany’s foremost universities of applied sciences, home to more than 17,000 students, every seminar has become a seamless hybrid experience – for the class in the room and the students joining from anywhere.
Across approximately 20 seminar rooms, the Department of Computer Science swapped three to four boxes of legacy AV per room for a single all-in-one device: the WolfVision Cynap Pro, which drives twin front-of-room displays in every room. Powered by integrated HDBaseT, it sends pristine HDMI content from a front-of-room rack all the way up to the ceiling-mounted projectors over a single cable – no signal loss, no extra hardware. Because HDBaseT is built into the unit, it also does away with the second, standalone HDBaseT sender the installation would otherwise require – one less box, one less point of failure, and less cabling in every room.
