ORLANDO, INFOCOMM INTERNATIONAL 2015 – June 17, 2015
The HDBaseT Alliance, the cross-industry group tasked with promoting and advancing HDBaseT technology, welcomes Fibersystem as a new Alliance member. During InfoComm International 2015, Fibersystem will showcase its new HDBaseT fiber solution for the distribution of ultra-high resolution, video, audio and USB peripheral data at the Alliance’s booth.
Fibersystem is an innovative developer of fiber optic transmission equipment and IT security products. Its new HDBaseT solutions are emission secured, which guarantees that any data being transmitted is protected from potential leaks resulting from radio or electrical signals, sounds and vibrations. Fibersystem is introducing HDBaseT-enabled, emission secured monitors, projectors, and KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) solutions.
At InfoComm, Fibersystem will showcase the 45-600 HDMI HDBaseT KVMX solution, a keyboard-video-mouse extender link that enables secure and remote CPU location, for up to 300 meters with multi-mode fiber and several kilometers with single mode fiber, thanks to HDBaseT. KVMX’s HDBaseT series enables 4K resolution, all audio formats, USB 2.0 support, controls and more.
HDBaseT’s fiber transmission is one of the features enabled by Spec 2.0 of the HDBaseT standard. Fibersystem’s HDBaseT solutions are especially suited for:
Industrial applications, where the console needs to be close to the process or the computers cannot be placed near the operator due to heat, dust, or space constraints.
Hospital environments, where computers are placed in a separate location for sanitary reasons. Emission-secured systems (“EMSEC”) with no compromising emanation signals (NATO norm “TEMPEST”), for government organizations’ and companies’ sensitive information.
Security centers, where the highest security standard and efficient connectivity offered by fiber optics are required.
Digital signage, for the efficient installation of digital signage to the highest standards, over long distances.
A live demo of the KVMX fiber solution can be seen during InfoComm International at the HDBaseT Alliance’s booth (No. 1769).
EXECUTIVE PERSPECTIVE
“By incorporating HDBaseT technology into our products, we are able to offer our customers increased flexibility and the highest video resolution possible. Our KVMX series of HDBaseT-enabled products are particularly suited where longer distances are required without compromising on the quality of video or data being transmitted.”
Thomas Axaeus, Sales Manager at Fibersystem
“By enabling the distribution of ultra-high definition content over fiber, HDBaseT broadens even further the realm of applications and use cases for the technology. We welcome FIbersystem’s innovative solution, and are looking forward to seeing more in the future.”
Micha Risling, Chair of the Marketing Committee at the HDBaseT Alliance
About the HDBaseT Alliance
The HDBaseT™ Alliance advances and promotes the adoption of HDBaseT technology as the global standard for ultra-high definition, digital connectivity. Since its founding in 2010 by LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Valens, the Alliance has brought together the leading names in the consumer electronics and professional AV market. The cornerstone of HDBaseT technology is the New 5Play™, a feature set that converges uncompressed Ultra-HD digital video & audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, power over cable, various control signals, and USB through a single LAN cable.
