One of the oldest broadcast stations in the United States needed to transform their 12,000 square foot facility into a hi-tech multifunctional media center. Its dynamic news studio required to be reconfigurable and flexible, and allow seamless interconnection of the broadcast signals in the room. A major challenge was installing a large video display with 3G HD-SDI video walls and 4K UHD video signal processing. PureLink PM-128X PureMediaTM HDBaseT Matrix Switcher was used to switch any input signal to any combination of outputs and route multiple configurations simultaneously. HDBaseT allowed the seamless integration of high quality LED video walls with large format interactive touchscreens and the transmission of signals on a single cable.
