The Antônio Seabra Moggi Convention Center at Petrobras Research Center (CENPES) in Rio de Janeiro recently completed an audiovisual modernization project designed to improve image quality, simplify operations, and reduce maintenance requirements while preserving the venue’s existing infrastructure.
Working with systems integrator Videomática Sistemas Audiovisuais e Automação, Petrobras upgraded its projection environment with Barco G50 Series laser projectors installed across the convention center’s multipurpose spaces and videoconferencing facilities.
A key objective of the project was to modernize the venue without requiring structural modifications or disrupting day-to-day operations. By maintaining the existing installation environment and integrating new projection technology into the facility’s established AV ecosystem, the project was completed efficiently while minimizing operational impact.
With HDBaseT-enabled Barco projectors supporting the deployment, the upgraded solution delivers enhanced visual performance, improved operational reliability, and lower maintenance requirements, helping Petrobras create a more modern and future-ready conference environment.
