— With more than 150 members, the Alliance launches a real-life project portal —
Beaverton, OR– November 17, 2015 – The HDBaseT Alliance, the cross-industry group tasked with promoting and advancing HDBaseT technology, has reached the milestone of 150 members, and continues to grow as more companies join the group. Member companies cover the full ecosystem of AV products, addressing the needs of commercial and residential installations, digital signage, broadcasting, industrial PCs, and more, with hundreds of HDBaseT-enabled products in the market.
Highlighting the unprecedented growth of HDBaseT in the market, the Alliance has launched a real-life project portal, featuring dozens of HDBaseT case studies around the world. The portal was designed to provide installers, integrators, vendors, and other AV professionals with real-life references of HDBaseT installations. Each case study contains details on the project including challenges and solutions, equipment deployed, pictures and more. Visitors can learn:
- How the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia used HDBaseT to build a state-of-the-art interactive education and outreach science project, consisting of 48-multi-touch screens soaring across two floors
- How a financial executive in the US replicated his office at home, with HDBaseT switching and integration of all sources and displays
- How an Italian dental clinic improved patient experience and enhanced training courses by connecting cameras and displays with HDBaseT throughout the three-floor clinic
- How a sports arena in Sweden leveraged HDBaseT to provide a better experience for the visitors at the 21,000 sq.m. (226,000sq.ft.) facility
