Details: The EXPO Kraków is the largest (13,000 m2/140,000 ft2), busiest, multi-purpose, modern facility in the region. Extremely reliable signal management and audiovisual distribution systems were needed to meet the intensive demands of its exhibitors and/or conference room attendees. A hybrid solution of HDBaseT and IP was used, leveraging the benefits of each technology to the specific application needs. The HDBaseT solution comprised Matrix Switchers and Extender sets (100m/328ft), to deliver signals throughout the venue, including the digital signage sources.
HDBaseT technology enabled the long-distance transfer of full HD signals, including audio, to the centrally located equipment. HDBaseT transmitters were also used to feed the three large projector screens in the exhibition halls.
