Details: This newly built luxury smart home, with 18 audiovisual zones, required a state of the art—yet easy to use—entertainment system that complemented its modern design. It required a system that would enable interoperability of devices from different manufacturers while maintaining flexibility for potential further customization.
An HDBaseT™ matrix enabled the transmission of content throughout the property. In the cinema room, an HDBaseT™ extender with Power over HDBaseT™ (PoH) functionality was used to distribute the 4K ultra-high-definition content roughly 35m/115ft from the centrally located Blu-ray player and subwoofer power amplifier. In addition to reducing installation time and enabling plug-and-play, this clutter-free installation contributed to the unadulterated feel of the entire application.
