Audi dealership looking for an integrated system for the distribution of uncompressed high-definition audio and video, from multiple sources to multiple displays. Full flexibility needed to show any source on any display, or same source on multiple displays, including remote or local sources. The integrated AV system had to be discreet and blend with the dealership clean and elegant environment, despite the large size and distances involved. The installed system included an 8-screen network, comprised of a series of 42” to 55” LG screens, in addition to a 70” smart board in the dealership boardroom for presentation purposes. All sources and screens throughout the dealership are managed with WyreStorm high-definition matrix switcher. In addition to the dual cable display receivers up to 50m from the rack, to address longer transmission distances, HDBaseT extender sets were placed behind or above the screens in more remote locations to ensure distribution of signals could be achieved throughout the site.
The integrated system was a winning choice for this modern Audi dealership that’s open and busy seven days a week. HDBaseT addressed the long distances involved in the installation for a worry-free deployment and high performance and reliability.
