Southbank Bar wanted to provide their patrons, no matter where they sat in the bar, with high quality broadcasts of a wide variety of sporting events and other entertainment. The new audio-visual system commissioned from local AV specialists Cable Guys included the PU-8H8HBTPL-4K22 HDBaseT Lite Matrix delivering 4K content, as well as HDCP2.2 compliancy, together with the CYP’s Power-over-Cable HDBaseT Lite Receivers. In total, the system is comprised of eight sources: four Sky HD boxes; one band camera; a promotional computer delivering digital signage; a DVD player; and CYP’s EL-41PIP picture-in-picture device, which supports up to four separate sections of content and overlays on the displays. Three CYP 8-by-8 matrices control all of the sources to all of the screens so that each can be configured quickly and easily to show whatever content is desired at the time.
