Tourist Center

The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle, which attracts more than 130,000 visitors per month. Besides an observation deck and rotating restaurant, the Space Needle features a meeting and banquet facility – the Skyline Meeting Center, which hosts 30 to 50 business and private events each month. The HDBaseT-enabled audio/video system includes high-definition projectors included in each of the three meeting rooms, a sound and video distribution system, and control. Sources include Blu-ray Disc® players, DirectTV®, a 14-channel Muzak® service, inputs for digital and analog laptops, iPod® docks and video games. Each source can be routed to each room, and controlled both locally and remotely, with wireless Crestron touch screen and wall-mount docking stations.

“[HDBaseT-enabled] DigitalMedia is the best game in town as far as video processing is concerned. In addition to that, it’s an easy system to set up, which allowed us to offer a more competitive installation price.” Tyson Scherb, Commercial Sound & Video
