HDBaseT Alliance, with more than 200 members today, advances and promotes HDBaseT as the standard for wired connectivity, both for the professional audio-visual and automotive sectors. HDBaseT Automotive enables the transmission of multi-Gigabit bandwidth of video, audio, Ethernet, controls, data, USB and power over a single unshielded twisted pair.
DENSO has also joined the Alliance’s Automotive Work Group, which is responsible for leading the standardization of HDBaseT Automotive technology. The Work Group is tasked with the development and establishment of the standard – from identification and mapping of infotainment, ADAS, cybersecurity, and networking requirements to drafting and publishing the specifications.
“We are honored to welcome DENSO as our newest Contributor member. As we expand our activities in the automotive sector, their participation in the Alliance and specifically in the Work Group will enrich and empower our advances in the world of in-vehicle connectivity,” commented Ariel Sobelman, President of the HDBaseT Alliance. “With leading OEMs and Tier-1s in the Work Group, we benefit from a comprehensive view of the market and the needs of the sector going forward.”
